The Shanti is one of my fave places to visit down in Soulard (historic part of downtown STL). They have such a fun, laid back atmosphere and always have a great live band!
I have been on a feather frenzy as of late! love it! you can find the feathers I used throughout the album here.
awww, look at my baby (bf). lol
I also mixed in some new Girls' Paperie paper. Loving that line!
I hope you all have enjoyed looking at this album as much as I had making it!
You can see all pages here, in case you missed the other posts. :D
My partner in crime today is none other than "the happy smiley girl"...JULIE!!! :):):):):):) (see Julie, I can do it too. haha)
I love this girl! and I actually got to hang out with her IRL last year at a scrap convention. She is as cool and nice in person as she is online.
So, without further ado {insert drum roll...badabadabada}
JULIE!!!
HAPPY FRIDAY!!! Julie Tucker-Wolek with U here today and I can NOT thank Beth enough for the great intro!!! Thanks Beth!! LOVE U GIRL!! And I loveeeeeeeeeeeeeee that photo of US!!!! I miss U BP!!!!! :):):):):):):) And U ROCKED the SMILEYS!! YAY!!! :):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)

One of the products that Blue Moon sent me to work with this month was a FUN journal album from Little Yellow Bicycles Free Spirit collection!! It is sooooooooo AWESOME!! The pages are nice and thick...no bleeding through even though I used my Sharpie for my writing! :):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)
Here is what the album looks like "before" Julie dug her hands into it!! LOL! :):):):):):):):):):):):):):)
Has a fun little pocket in the back! :):):):):):):):):):):):):):)
And all these stickers come with it too! :):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)
And here is what I created....one thing that I am constantly asked is how I keep up with all my DT assignments! :):):):):):):):):):):):):) Well...truth be told...its MOSTLY in my head!! LOL!! But, I also am on Sketchy Thursdays and Scrapping the Music and These are a Few of My Favorite Things where there are sketches and prompts that I follow....and sometimes those are just written quickly on a scratch paper and put *wherever* on my desk!! LOL!! And then sometimes I have a HARD time finding those scratch papers!! LOL!! And I also design for NikkiSivils.com and on there I showcase others work that have made lo's with her papers....and I have to keep a list of that also..... Soooooooooooooo I thought this journal would be PERFECT for all my DT assignments! :):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)
So here is my final product finished! :):):):):):):):):):):):):) Like I said before...the pages are soooooooo thick...perfect if U are a Sharpie carrying girl like me! :):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)
Here comes Julie's scratch papers! LOL :):):):):):):):):)
super cute stuff!! That book is brilliant, I need to utilize a notebook I have for that purpose. I'm using sticky notes right now! LOL
ReplyDeleteFunny thing is Julie....when I first saw this Little Yellow Bicycle line I immediately thought of you. :-) That is a great idea on the use for the journal...I've kept a few but mostly stick with my dry erase boards....because if my responsibilities aren't in black and white in front of my face I'll most likely forget about it or lose the journal in my scrap mess and forget about it. LOL
ReplyDeleteThat is SO cool that you two had the chance to meet IRL.
