Have you ever received a package of scrappy goodies in your mailbox (or a GORGEOUS kit), opened it before you're even in the door, and tear through all the beautiful, new, amazing, product....almost afraid to even start creating for fear that you might 'mess up'??
Well, that's how I felt with this FAN-TAB-U-LOUS Cherry Banner Kit from Blue Moon Scrapbooking!!!.
I had been waiting for this kit to arrive and was sooooooo grateful that it was left on my doorstep when I got home from work today!! I think it was just meant for me to play with this kit tonight, because my mailwoman NEVER leaves the package on my front step! Usually I get a parcel slip in my mailbox, and I have to pick it up at the postal outlet the NEXT day!! Boy, was I glad it was left....even though it did bother me a little to think that someone could have come along and took it without me even knowing it had arrived!
I was never so anxious for my girls to go to bed....and as soon as homework was complete, baths were done, and prayers were said....I rushed downstairs to create with all these goodies!
It was a slow start but I soon got in the creating mode!
This first LO I created I used:
Dear Lizzy paper
American Craft and Cosmo Cricket lettering
American Craft felt stickers
and lots of stitching and doodling!!
Then I made this second LO!
(I do apologize for the bad photo...it's hard to take a good photo at 11:00pm. lol)
Look at this gorgeous Prima flower!!
And I am totally in love with these AC puffy letter Thickers!
And I couldn't stop creating with out making a simple card! I saw this clothesline sticker and immediately had an idea- to make a "Let's Hang" card!!
I think it turned out pretty cute!
