Melanie's Monday post!

It's week 2 of creating with my Mirabella kit from BlueMoon Scrapbooking! On this layout, I

leaned towards the reverse side of the papers to give you an idea of how versatile this kit can be. They come in really beautiful soft shades of green, yellow, peach, and pink. American Crafts did a wonderful job with this lines. The embellishments are perfect! I did notice some of the brand new embellishments from CHA are on sale, click here to view them!

SWEET LOVE

how about some close-ups...

This is a picture of the Dear Lizzy fabric paper, it's included in the Mirabella kit as well. I cute the flowers out, wrinkled them up by placing them in my hand and smoshing them. I scraped my scissors along the edge to give them a worn tattered look.

and the other flower

love the texture!

Lots of layers and hand-cut pieces to embellish my baby girl's picture. Isn't it crazy how fast babies grow? This is the same girl that was on my layout last week, only 8-9 years later. I'm so glad I have the opportunity to scrap these moments and save them.

a poem I found online...

For a softer look, I hand stitched on the layout. I stitched the title, butterfly flutter's, and the x's on the canvas diecut. The diecut piece is from Little Yellow Bicycle it's a 12 inch canvas piece.

I know you are wanting to see the kit...just look at this baby! To purchase, please visit BlueMoon Scrapbooking and guess what... if you purchase $50 or more you get free shipping.

Just think, you could take the money that would go towards shipping and buy something for yourself like perhaps....some of my new favorites...the 3 new lines from Pink Paislee or the beautiful Webster's Page Bloomers Trim. Really, I just order these items for myself. I have the Pink Paislee swirls and frames, you wouldn't believe how cool the Artisan Elements are. I'm gonna need 2 of each packages.

Have a great week! To finish up the kit I plan on sharing a mini album. But first it's challenge time once again! We'll share the details on the next challenge soon. But as a reminder to you...our challenge this month is a cutting challenge and it's coming to an end very soon. Visit us on the blog to read the details on the Master Cutter Challenge and please enter you layout. It's a $40 prize to shop at the BlueMoon store. I'd be happy to help you shop :)Have a wonderful day!
