New Challenge...with Melanie's Monday Post

Are you ready for our next challenge...it's time! BlueMoon Challenges are for YOU, this month the theme is Birds and Butterflies!

Here's the new challenge for you!

You're at the grocery store picking out your tomatoes and out of the corner of your eye you notice someone and do a double take.  Hey, that's Tim Holtz! So, you walk up and say hi and the conversation turns to his hot, new Alteration Dies ... and I don't know how this happened, but next thing I knew he's handing me a butterfly die - I about fainted...  do you think any of my friends will believe me- where is the camera when you need it!

The challenge is to to use
birds and/or butterflies in our layout, card....
The Winner can choose : A Tim Holtz Butterfly Die (which by the way makes a butterfly, dragonfly or a bee) and $10.00 to BlueMoon OR $30.00 to BlueMoon- in case you are crazy enough not to have a die-cutting machine- LOL.

This Challenge ends May 22nd.
Here's my take on the challenge...Birds, Butterflies  (and I added bee's)

BEAUTY OF NATURE

The Beauty diecut is from My Minds Eye (at a great price I have to add!) I outlined the diecut in teal stickles to make the teal in my layout flow throughout the page.

You'll see bee's, dragonflies, birds, and butterflies throughout the layout, The stickers are from K & Company, Tim Coffey Blossomwood Butterfly Grand Adhesions. These are one of my favorite stickers because they are tripled layered with a glittery transparency over the top.

One of my favorite items just released are the Maya Road Dangling Chandelier beads. This box is full of them, you get 70 beads and a couple different sizes! They have predrilled holes in them, to make hanging them easy! I attached mine with coordinating brads.

I also used the dangling beads under my journaling.

The Prima Birds are beautiful, perfect match to the Prima paper. The birds come outlined in a gold and silver finish, but again I wanted the teal cover to flow throughout the page, once again stickles to the rescue!

I can't wait to see your creations. We really enjoy looking through your entries each month in the BlueMoon Gallery. Keep on posting, everyone is welcome to join in on the fun!

Just a quick reminder to sign up for the giveaway this week, it's a beauty! It's a huge package of
American Crafts Botanique and American Crafts Letterbox. Visit the BlueMoon Blog for details on the giveaway.

Have a wonderful day!
