Melanie's Monday post---Using the MAN kit

Hello!!! I'm still working with the BlueMoon Scrapbooking Man kit and having fun with it! Today I would like to share this layout called...

My Little Gentleman

Did you see the little tiny top hat I cut out of the paper and placed it on Kaden's head in the first picture? Just wanted to add a fun, unexpected element to the photo. I mostly used the Graphic 45, A Proper Gentleman Papers. They always have the cool vintage items to cut out. On this close-up I used a piece of the paper as my title piece and inked the edges with some Tim Holtz Distress Inks. The clock is also cut out from the pattern paper and popped up with a pop-dot. Easy embellishment! The feather is included in the kit, it's from K & Company.

Here I used the Little Yellow Bicycle Canvas Border and edged with a 7 Gypsies Rubber Band which I cut and stretched to the length of my layout. You'll see lots of great texture here...canvas, rubber ban, paper, metal, embroidery thread and pattern paper. LOVE IT!

Here's the Man Kit! For details on the contents, please visit the BlueMoon site!

Have a wonderful day!
