Good morning!!
It's Thursday...and that means another post from me, Susan!
This month I had the amazing opportunity to play with the HUGS and KISSES kit!! And...I am having soooo much fun! Here's what the kit looks like...
This kit is filled with so many items, including Pink Paislee papers, borderlines, canvas patches and brads. Also, goodies from Maya Road, Fancy Pants, Prima and Chatterbox!!
All kinds of goodies to create a variety of projects. If you saw yesterday's blog post, then you were probably blown away, like I was, at Abby's GORGEOUS projects!! She is so talented!!
Well, today, I will show you some different kinds of inspiration! I have to say that, although I do enjoy creating altered projects, my love is in creating scrapbook layouts and cards! And I hope that my designs will inspire you!
When I first saw the kit and found out the name of it, I was immediately inspired to create LOs using photos of my two daughters and my husband! Because, that's who I give my hugs and kisses to each day!!
This first one shows the love between my children and their daddy! It's so funny that whenever I take a photo of the three of them, they, most always cuddle together just like they are in this picture!!
In this close-up you can see how I stitched around the paper for the border. And, I used the Pink Paislee stamp from the kit to create a design on the chipboard heart!
My next LO is one of my daughter. So cute as she's peeking around the tree.
Look how I used the fabric swatch to create a stitched flower! And see the rub-on too....all from the kit!!
And the next LO, one of my daughter and how she just amazes me each day!
Such a variety of pretty accents in this kit! I actually covered the Chipboard hearts with pattern paper and then layered them to create a little heart flower! And...everything you see in this photo is in the kit! And, that Prima stem and flowers, I used parts of it on all of my designs!!
And finally....here's a card I created to give to my husband! It was our anniversary yesterday and a perfect opportunity to create a card with this sentiment!
See that green accent paper? That's the Prima cardboard that came in the package of lettering! Cool, hey?
That's all for now!! But...I am still creating with this kit! And will have more to share next Thursday!
Thanks soooo much for checking out my designs!!
