She.....

Happy Tuesday all! How was your NYE? Mine was very fun and intimate! I just had a few peeps over to play some Wii and cards!

I got to play with the Flirtatious kit this month. And O.M.G.!!! It was so much fun! I created so much with it! Today, I am going to share a layout and some altered projects I made with it.

This page was a bit of therapy for me. Journaling: she is at a cross road. and only she can fight for what she wants. but it is a tough pill to swallow either way....fight or lie down..... she is not sure she knows how to lie down anymore.
Well, I fought with a compromise (or a proposed solution) So, we will see what happens.

I LOVED making these tags!!! I really might start making more of these. And now that I have a sewing machine, I am thinking that some stitching would be a beautiful addition.
I can use these tags as birthday/thinking of you cards with presents or use them on layouts and other projects.
Vintage milkcap from my stash.
Did lots of misting on two of them.
I very much loved the lace and the velvety flocked papers.

You know those little Making Memory vintage tins? Well, one comes in the Flirtatious kit.

I took the lid and bottom apart and made two fridge magnets out of them.
I hung some of the fun goodies that come in the kit from the tins. Blue crystals and the spoon are just a few of the many awesome little "extras" that come in Flirtatious! The old die is from my stash.
So, that is all I have to share for today from the Flirtatious kit.

Next I want to show you my Christmas album. I make one every year. As soon as I saw all the girly pretty goodness and the mini album in the Babes of Toyland kit, I KNEW that was going to be my Christmas album!

The covers of the album are already flocked with velvet. I went a step further with it. I wanted to add more dimension and protect the covers at the same time. So, I poured Tim Holtz' crackle accent glaze and smoothed it around with a sponge brush. I, then, sprinkled some blue German glass glitter (from my stash) over the front and back covers of the album.
The hardware on the front is a piece I found antiquing. I love to mix the hard edges and rustic feel of old finds with pearls, bling and lace. That contrast just makes me giddy! :D

The pages that come in the kit are textured. So, you can leave them as they are, ink/distress them, or put paper over them. I suggest having some fun first and trying new things out. If you don't like it, cover it with paper that comes in the kit! (that is what I did!)

The kit also comes with 4 clear acrylic snowflakes. I used German glass glitter on this one.

More crackle glaze used on this snowflake.

Well, I hope you have enjoyed this very long and photo heavy post! lol
What are you creating this week?
