So first of all,i tried to make another card.I wanted to use some girly colors too,so i added the pink from my own stash. But all the other products are available at the BlueMoonScrapbooking shop!I especially love the tape...You can use it in so many way's!
Here is a layout i made for a friend.I simply adore these beautiful pictures from her daughter Molly dressed up as Alice in Wonderland.I used the little crystal stickers as centers for the rub on flowers and added them to the second picture.I love how the background paper is matching her jacket.I curled the flower stems to give it a more whymsical feel to complete the "Alice look".Okay so when i opened my Natural Livings kit, this background paper was the first that noticed me.It's a beautiful color cream and the text on the background faded in places.I couldn't wait to get started with it.First i covered the paper with gesso and removed it with a babywipe. Then i added cream chalk,to fade the background some more. After that i used the Tim Holtz Antique Linnen Distress Ink to give the page a more of a vintage look.I also crumbled the paper a bit to make it look older. Then i burnt the outer edge of the Jenni Bowlin bingo card.Besides the great look,it was also a lot of fun to do!So did you read about the February challenge?Fun!I was thinking about what to do with the cardboard shapes from Donna Salazer.I was thinking about painting them,or remove the top coat of the cardboard. But then i realized that the shape and color are so fab that i just wanted to use it like this.I think it really pops out, don't you think??
My hardware item would be the hinges. It's actually meant to be used to flip, but i just wanted to use it as an embellishment ha!So that's it for now!All my free time without computer made me lock myself in my scraproom,so lot's to show with the upcoming kit.And sorry again everyone, hope you enjoyed my post.
Have a great weekend!Love Fauve
