*welcome spring* :):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)

Julie here to share with you my take on BlueMoon's latest challenge!!! I had a TON of fun with this challenge!!!! :):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)

Here is the challenge! :)
You live in a rural County, in fact so rural the closest scrapbooking store is many miles away and you get the chance to shop only once in a while. You shop online normally, at… joy, oh joy...Blue Moon Scrapbooking!! On a whimsy, your neighbor says “I’m going to town, want a lift?” Well, you hop in and the neighbor says “I’ll drop you off and pick you up in a bit”. Fabulous – except you have been dropped off at the hardware store with only cardboard shapes, nuts and bolts, wire and mesh… available. Time to push the creativity button as you work with the supplies from the hardware store.

Last month I posted a cabinet I altered for my Kodak camera collection....well....what no one saw of my cabinet is that before I altered it....I removed the cabinet's door...holding onto it for just the right moment!! Well...that moment came when I got word of this latest challenge!!!! :):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)

I painted the cabinet's door with a crackle paint base...and then covered it with Claudine Hellmuth's Studio paint....and since I had the Yellow Pastel (YUMMY YUMMY color!!!) I thought of Spring!!!! Soooooooooo then this whole project just came together for me! :):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)

I made a wall hanging to *welcome spring* :):):):):):):):):):):):):)

I also used Donna Salazer's chipboard pieces and painted those! :):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)

I also painted some mesh that I had to match my *spring* colors! :):):):):):) And then since I was at the *hardware* store...I picked me up some FUN color wires and made them a little *spring-y* ... (lol! sorry for the bad pun there!) :):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)

I seriously had a BLAST making this!!!! And I am loving how it turned out! :):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):) I am hoping that U all can PLAY ALONG!!!!!!
:):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)
Don't forget to upload your creation by March 20th to the Blue Moon Scrapbooking Gallery.

Here is some info that I see Susan posted on her blog post this week that I thought was very helpful for everyone when uploading to our gallery! :):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)
Upload a 4x6 with 72 resolution - this works best. If you're having issues uploading it's usually because the image is too big/large a file. Resize it and you're off to the races. If you have problems email lisa@bluemoonscrapbooking.com.

Here is the rest of the info for our challenge! :):):):):):):):)
You can enter 1 layout per challenge.

Open to all US and International Scrappers.

We need at least 5 people to enter in order to choose a winner, so tell some of your friends to join in so someone will win the $40.00 BlueMoon Shopping Certificate.

A winner will be chosen the week of March 22nd.
